G4Derm™ Plus

A pioneering advanced wound care system based on Gel4Med’s proprietary Smart Materials Platform™.

G4Derm™ Plus system includes a prefilled syringe and a flexible applicator tip that enables precise delivery of the flowable biomimetic matrix to irregularly shaped and hard-to-access wounds. G4Derm™ Plus forms a 3D scaffold that mimics the human extracellular matrix (ECM) and serves as an antibacterial barrier that protects the wound. The biomimetic matrix is uniquely positioned to simultaneously spur tissue regrowth and control bioburden.

G4Derm™ Plus aspires to be a surgeon's first choice for advanced wound management to achieve full wound closure through superior healing benefits.

Product Highlights

A skin tissue illustration to show tissue regrowth.

Tissue Regrowth

G4Derm™ Plus biomimetic matrix features a biodegradable scaffold that emulates the native extracellular matrix properties of human skin. This microarchitecture provides an environment conducive to tissue regrowth and revascularization to support effective wound healing.1

Effective Bioburden Protection

G4Derm Plus’s 3D matrix structure provides a non-immunogenic, antibacterial barrier that protects the wound. This matrix barrier may help reduce infection and prevent biofilm reformation.2,3

Flowable Matrix

Together with the flexible applicator tip, the intentionally designed flowable consistency of G4Derm™ Plus allows it to reach and conform to hard-to-access, irregularly shaped wound beds, while eliminating void space and remaining contained in the wound.5

High Reproducibility

G4Derm™ Plus eliminates the reliance on human and animal donor sources, which reduces the risk of biological variability while assuring reproducibility, scalability, and robust quality control of the product.

G4Derm™ Plus system is committed to delivering superior wound healing benefits and
cost-effectiveness through innovative science.

G4Derm™ Plus system arrives in a prefilled, ready-to-use, sterile syringe with a flexible applicator tip, streamlining the clinical workflow without the need for thawing or mixing. The room-temperature storage capability and extended two-year shelf life7 assures consistent readiness, simplifies hospital supply chains, and offers a more cost-effective approach to storing and maintaining advanced wound care products.

  • No cold-chain storage required
  • Stable at room temperature
  • No reconstitution required
  • 2 years shelf-life stability
  • Terminal steam sterilization
